Nytår er lige som krig

New Years in denmark is like a bombing is going off. I'm pretty sure anyone with any PTSD at all loses their minds. Fireworks are CRAZY and lights are everywhere.

I'm so excited.
(say that just like Mole from Atlantis the Lost Empire)

This week was super eventful, and we got to play santa!!!!! Sister Lyman and I woke up at 5:45 on the 25th and drove out to Helsingør, and then Hillerød and dropped up care packages for the elders. They love us. They were so happy. Especially cause we gave them chocolate. And Cocios. Not that you guys know what those are at all.

And christmas eve was spent with the ward mission leader and his family. That was pretty great. Ask me about it some time.

We skyped at Jette's, and it was way great to see the fam, they're nice people. I met Lyndsey, my future Sister-In-Law. LET'S GO!!!!! woohoo!!!!! She's a peach.

We also got to see a few missionaries come home and then back to the magical land of denmark. always weird.......who even does that? #Completely Ironic

It was great seeing my fam, but weird again, cause everyone was scatter-brained, including me. I even wore a rudolph nose to break the ice with my family. Who even does that??

We had a great sunday in church, and I finally got my blessing typed out from when I was on tour with the music group! Elder Geslison gave it to me my last night and sister mandla recorded it. It's way awesome. I'm so happy about it.

anyways........

Here's my fave story for the week. We have a friend named Finn, who is less active and has been struggling with his testimony. We had visited him on saturday night, where he opened the door looking very frail and ill. We were so worried about him! He said that he had just been to the hospital that morning, and he's having some major aches and pains, and the doctors couldn't tell him what was wrong. I felt inspired to ask him if he'd like a blessing, and he immediately said, ''yes!'' That was a miracle in and of itself, as Finn doesn't really use or see the priesthood that often. (After getting baptized 2 years ago he never got it because he smokes, and hasn't been able to stop. He's also the only member in his family )

So we immediately call his home teachers, and although they can't come that evening, we made an appointment for after church yesterday. Immediately after church we jet over to Finn's and his home teachers drove their own car. We brought Elder Beck and Hendricksen with us, and all 4 men went inside to give the blessing. Finn was so happy to see the elders, whom, before sisters had come to birkerød, visited him often. Unfortunately, Sister Lyman is allergic to Finn's apartment, so we waited outside as they administered to him. They came out a few minutes later, and Elder Beck had given the blessing. Finn was smiling ear to ear, SO HAPPY to have gotten a blessing!!!! After leaving Finn's we said a prayer and hoped that things would go a little better for him.

Back to the present....so this morning we get a phone call around 8 from Finn, and right after he asks us how we're doing and we return the favor, he says, ''I've decided I want to stop smoking.''
We're visiting him wednesday night to make a plan for him spiritually and then physically :) WE'RE SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

All in all a swell week.

GODT NYTÅR ALLE SAMMEN!

Let's Hit the Road Jack

A car trip is fun. Road trips with friends in a car is even better. Get us the assistant's van, an extra car, and jammin mormon tabernacle choir, and we have the ultimate touring group.
This is the good life.
Whenever else in my life am I going to get the chance to go on a magical touring group where we, all day long, sing, laugh, work our little missionary tushes off, and bring other people joy this way? NEVER. I AM LOVING THIS.
How bout some facts and stories of my road-ie life to help you feel like you're almost here with me ;D

Man. This is a lot of work. I am exhausted.
Yes, living out of a suitcase can be a pain in the butt.
Half the time I just don't wear makeup or do my hair until a perfomance cause like, we're in a car and there is no one to impress until then bahahahhaha
Elder Gudmunson tells the funniest jokes nogensinde.
I'm really bad at the game ''Never Have I Ever'' apparently cause I haven't ridden a kangaroo or owned my own car. #SøsterFløjteProblemer
Everywhere I go I know people. In like, all the wards. Elder Bådsgård asks me quite often how I know so many people. *que the hair flip, I'm an old missionary in a small country/mission*
When we leave after a performance to go on to the next place and people would normally say goodbye they don't to me cause they're just like, ''see you in a month'' #I love them so much but when I come back I'll be like, not serving a mission anymore whut thuh.
I have made so many best friends from the group. It's like I got a whole nothuh MTC district. BOO YA.
This one time we had sacrament twice in one day cause we performed for 2 wards, but then had to leave immediately after the 2nd sacrament, cause we had to drive from Odense to Frederikshavn to make another concert. Look those places up on a map. That was a little bit of a drive in a short amount of time. We made it in about 3 1/2 hours.
I'm grateful for all the people who have housed us since coming out on this group. MISSIONARIES UNITE.
''Never have I ever played 'never have i ever' '' -thank you sister Mandla.
Elder Geslison needs to stahp it wid alle det der guitar skillz he's got. Actually he can't. I enjoy listening to it too much.
One day Elder Bådsgård will teach me how to truly play piano. I WILL BE TRIUMPHANT! Elder Gudmunson taught me a fun practice that will help me with dexterity. Whatever that means.
Søster O'Bryant, ''I love the red lipstick! But I think either you all should wear it, or none of you!'' *Que us going out to a makeup store and buying lipstick. It took a good hour to decide on the correct color of red.
Elder Bådsgård has got some funny jokes up his sleeve, ''What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?'' Good guy.
When we stayed in Roskilde Sister Williams told me about a man she contacted at the train station, ''I thought he was perfectly normal, but then he pulled out a santa hat and tried to hug me.'' Sister Van Orden's response, ''Well, hey! That's kind of what we're doing!''
Truth.
Side Note: I just gave Elder Gudmunson some swedish chocolate, and his joy is full. I want you all to see his happy little face.
hanygways.
Even though we wake up at 6:30 in the morning, we often don't get home until 10:30 or later. Sometimes we may or may not resemble the walking dead.
People give us free oranges everyday of our lives. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. I have eaten more mandarins in the last 2 weeks than in my entire life.
I don't know what it is about this road life, but we're all dropping weight. I've lost 10 lbs, and all the other sisters have dropped weight as well. THIS IS WHY I SHOULD HAVE THIS AS MY CAREER.
Elder Bådsgård and Elder Geslison have also just partaken of the chocolate which I købt. They are happy campers.
''Squirrel.'' It's my favorite thing to say whenever we get distracted during rehearsals
When I went back to Slagelse 3 days ago for that concert I just fell in love with those people again. They're wonderful. Hanna Sørensen asked me, ''was it nice to be home tonight?'' Why yes. Yes is was.
Sister Lyman's hands are always cold, and mine are always warm. We are the perfect companionship. I literally get to hold her hand and skip down the street with her. # Let's go
Sometimes in the middle of our touring a million people all tell me at once that Sister Allison Wright is getting married and I giggle a ton and am just so happy cause I knew before all of them #MYTRAINERLOVES ME AND WRITES ME
We're emailing in Aalborg. I'm giddy.
We also get to perform here next sunday. LIFE IS GOOD.
Sister Moseley is going home this week, and I don't know how I feel about that.
Sister Van Orden is one of the funniest people I've ever met in my entire life, and I wish to be more like her when I grow up.
Our songs are sounding better and better, so if you go online and look up #budbringerne2015 or #enfrelsererfødt then look at the most recent vids, cause they're sounding more and more like a real music group
I don't know how to smile in performances cause when I smile I either look scary or my face starts to twitch ridiculously. So it just becomes emotionless.
The other day in a performance I all of a sudden started choking on my saliva and tried not to die in front of all these peeps. I literally mouthed the words at the end because if I tried to emit any sound I would have coughed a ridiculous amount into the crowd. It was ''I'll be home for Christmas'' ( I almost WAS. In a coffin that is.)
Don't worry tho. I sang that song perfectly the next time through.
''Det var lidt sad face''-Æ. Gudmunson og Geslison
Today we went to the tippy tip top of Denmark. It was awesome. it's called Skagen, and we have great pics, but like, we can't put any on these computers, sooooo.....you get em next week :)

Well I think that's it. i love you all, have a great week, and enjoy your family at Christmas time! I DON'T GET TO BE WITH MINE. Jk I'm home in denmark hahahhahahhahahhaa I'll see y'all soon!

Musik Concerten!

let's go! Literally. SO on wednesday we'll be starting the music concert thingy(well actually we'll just meet up and start practicin togethuh.) but anywhays. It's gonna be swell.

This week was fabulous, with zone conference, and then this huge wind storm, also known as a hurricane...hehehe.....ja. But like, it only REALLY hit Northern Jylland, and we just got insane wind from like 9-2 last night into this morning. So we was safely inside and sleepin! It was crazy tho, cause like, we got stuck in the church in Allerød, with no transportation out, cause all busses and trains were getting cancelled. BAHAHHAA STRANDED IN A CHURCH. Sounds like John when he got left at the stake center in eastern washington cause we thought he was in the cousin's car, but actually he was hiding behind this one fountain on the other side hoping to scare us when we came outside. Unfortunately we didn't realize that until we had driven an hour or so... It's all good, tho, he was only a little scarred.
But so, That was basically us last night. The weather was really out to get us, and then we barely caught the last bus leaving allerød. If we hadn't gotten on it, the plan was to sleep in the nursery and nuke the heaters, using the princess jasmine blankets and small sleeping pads. I was ready.

Zone konference was great, they announced transfers! I already knew what was happening with me basically, but I did find out who will be coming to Birkerød to replace me when I'm touring and then sister moseley when she goes home! Sister Solberg is making and appearance! CONGRATS HONEY IT'S FABULOUS HERE. Then we I come back from touring sister lyman is also coming with, makin us a trio in a VERY small apartment. Sweet beans.

Can I just say how much I love Lene??????? Our less active who's NOT less active????? SHE'S MY FAVE. She loaned us her christmas pentatonix cd, let me try out these wrist band things that should keep me from getting car sick, and then just smiles, giggles, and has a ridiculously fun time with us at all events. For example. THis week she came with us to the relief society lunch-in, and we sat in the corner with her and isolated ourselves, trading nametags, eating food off each other's plates, and being our ridiculous selves. That woman. Did I mention she's also like 60? And she wears the best sweaters. Life is good with Lene around.

Last but not least a family made us jello yesterday because that's sister moseley's bae.

LOVE YOU ALLLL!!!!!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
ENJOY THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, remember of course, that it's not just this time of year we think about christ, but all the time.

p.s. This. Thought it might brighten your days. Thanks natalie.

p.s.s. Don't forget this one. Never gets old.

It's literally a traveling distrikt, with Elder Dickson as our distrikt leader. It's awesome. I can't remember everyone in it, but sister van orden is, sister mandla, and sister lyman, and then an elder from iceland! He's boss at the guitar apparrently, so that's happenin! WOOP WOOP! Ja, men, hej med jer.

What is up my home slices?

{I'm sure a lot. And I'd sure love to hear about it. Maybe you should email me about it.}

This week tho. Wow.Let's start last monday. Ok, so we went out, I convinced Sister Superb-Williams to buy the same coat I bought last year, cause it's amazing!(I've never been cold, wet, or unhappy with that thing. I love it so much.) And we also went to see this awesome tower called Rundtårnet. It's like 400 years old or something like that. It's basically this ginormous tower on the side of this church, where it just winds and winds and winds, and the path is made of brick. There's also this hollow part of it, right in the center of the spiraling pathway, and apparently in the 1600's a 6 year old boy fell into it....he broke his legs but like, he lived. So no harm no foul, right? And now he's famous! nåhh I'm not so heartles, poor kid. It's way trippy cause they have this giant glass plate in it, so you can see where the kid fell from.I got to stand in it, and I just loved it so much cause playing with gravity and winning. ''gravity is the law

Last week we found out about transfers, and it was actually really great, only we found out about them LIVE and at our zone trainings. That would be fine and dandy, but we unfortunately didn't have ours until friday...so we learned some patience. Friday came around and we got to zone training a little nervous. Sister Williams and I knew that we were not going to be together for another one, because we already had 2 transfers together. We also knew she was leaving Frederiksberg. I thought maybe I was training, or that I could be a sister training leader? We weren't sure. We didn't talk about the transfers until the end of training, so we were getting really anxious just sitting there. Part of the training was on how to handle stress and what kinds of stress are actually good stress! That was nice. I needed it. Especially when I found out what was happening.

Well we got to transfers.

President O'Bryant goes up there, and just says, ''well. I really hate doing this, cause I know you're not all gonna like it, and not just that, but reading off this tranfer information is always really complicated. Don't judge me as I make this a slow process.''

''Frederiksberg sisters! You're both leaving. Frederiksberg will be closing down for sisters and you're transfering monday. Sister Williams will be going to Roskilde, and your companion is sister Mølholt.'' So sister williams got a dane as a comp, and she's way stoked. Then he paused for a second, ''and sister Floyd...you're getting a special assignment. *pauses again* Your new area is quite new for sisters. In fact, they haven't had them in over 20 years''  at this point Sister O'Bryant just pipes in and says, ''You're toturing the poor girl! Just tell her where she's going!!!!!! She's waiting!'' I just start laughing cause I'm already surprised, and I just accept that I don't know what to expect at all. President just giggle a little. ''Sister Floyd you're going to be transfering to the Allerød ward, working the area of Birkerød. Your new companion is Sister Moseley.'' THE CROWN WENT WILD! Cause like, that is just insane. This was like the best news ever, cause allerød ward hasn't had sisters in forever and they NEED them. They have so many women that need our help. I'd heard about their need for sisters before actually when I was serving in Aalborg. Someone told me that not all wards in Denmark have sisters, and they named allerød. They also said that Allerød had been asking for sisters forever, but they hadn't ever gotten them, the time wasn't right.

well guess what?

The time has come the walrus said.

So as soon as that training was over, plans started going into action to get prepared. It was really hard to leave Frederiksberg, and especially because that place had ALWAYS had sisters. The longest time they've been without was probably 2 years ago, and that was just for like 3 months cause they were short on sisters. It's crazy. The ward was really sad :( I've got a copy of the ward list, though. SOOO....I will never truly be without them! facebook when I get home, and when mom and dad come we'll go visit.

The hardest part was actually clearing out the apartment we lived in. Me and Sister Williams just died. This apartment had to get cleared out. Like, we gutted that thing. And we only had 2 1/2 days to do it. That's not very long. I really wished our training had been on tuesday. That would have been nice. Or maybe if they had just given us two a heads up, since we were the only ones in the mission closing an area. That would have been great. Oh well, I didn't sleep for 3 nights, but whatevs. That place looks great, so ya :)

Monday morning sister Williams and I got to the train station in good time, and Sonja met us there. She was SO sad. She's never dealt with missionaries leaving before, and it really tore her apart. She just hugged us and hugged us, and wouldn't let us go :'( She just kept saying, ''you're coming back for my baptism!!! You have to!'' Sadly I'll be in America at that point, my dear little Sonja.

After that the assistants drove us to our new apartment. It was so nice of them! I always feel bad though, cause my suitcases are so heavy. They carried them up two flights up stairs, too. Poor  guys. Now we're just in the process of moving in. This apartment really needs a woman's touch. I'm shocked by it's disgustingness. Sister Moseley and I constantly are wondering or speaking out loud with exclamations of, ''ELDERS!'' or, ''This is Nastay.'' Oh OH OHHHHH my gosh Also! The elders have pictures of Jesus stuck EVERYWHERE. Like these little teensy stickers!!! It's really quite amazing all the spots they thought of to stick them. We even have Jesus on the ceiling. He's in the bathroom. He's in the lights. He's on our desk. He's on the mirror. He's everywhere. Jesus is in the kitchen, by the sink. This morning he appeared in my closet. It's like freaking Where's Waldo. I guess this is our official ''Welcome to the Birkerød apartment''!!!!!

Anyways, that's all I have to say. Love you guys! Pray for me, I'm gonna need it. One super great thing that happened already. So last night, we went to our first appointment the elders had set up for us. And we get to this elderly man's house, his name is Finn. He just welcomes us in, and we read scriptures with him. Sister Moseley and I taught SO comfortably together. It was one of the happiest appointments I've ever been in, and I loved it. Sister Moseley is SUCH an amazing teacher. I remember in the MTC when we knew like 3 words in Danish and would spend most of the time hand miming everything, cause we just couldn't function. This is so much better. This is what we always dreamed we could be like! I just am so happy to be companions with her again!!!!!!

Have the best week,
<3 Søster Floyd

THis week tho...

With no time to write, this is my comp's email! Obviously she didn't have time either! LOVE YOU ALL!!!
''I am really sorry this email isn't the longest. I will make up for it next week.

So this week we had zone conference, and there was a huge focus on repentance with real intent. I thought I would share my favorite scripture from it.

Alma 42:22

Justice claims us, the law inflicts punishment. We have a chance for repentance. The grace and mercy of Jesus Christ satisfies justice. Repentance is only the key to the power of his grace and mercy. As we turn to Christ and really, truly repent, we can feel love and peace.

Scriptures that show true change:
Alma 36:16-17
Enos 1:2-4

I love y'all, and I know that the blessing of repentance is such a great one that helps us be better and more in tune. Have an awesome week! ''

ditto.

#How bout yes

Things are going great here, although I really didn't miss the stress that comes with a baptism! When Marianne was preparing for baptism, I was a MESS cause I was just so stressed. Well, it has hit again! Dejlig er Jorden! The good thing is, I've handled it before, and that means that it's better received than last time. I have learned a few things(thankfully) and so there is a lot better planning coming into play here, and very different problems we're encountering! So we're working with that!
Sister Williams and I have developed some good quality humor. It's called she says anything and I laugh hysterically cause it's so funny, and then she laughs at my ridiculousness. That's what happened yesterday night, and I had to run for the bathroom at one point because I was about to pee I laughed so hard. #This is the life
Hey! I got a new YW's medallion! So did Sister Williams! We had somehow at some point in our mission departed from our medallions, a major problemo, and the YW leader gave us new ones yesterday, I think she's just grateful that we're bringing in a new YW, and because of that she's being way nice. She even got Sister Williams to old one that she had originally had! Good woman.
    UMMMMMMMM other than that....
I've got a great quote from sister williams, by C.S. Lewis! literally from her, as she gave me a sticky note with it on it:
''For you will certainly carry out God's purpose, however you act, but it makes a difference to you whether you serve like Judas or John.''
How bout yes.
Also this week, I totally played the piano in church. Not for the hymns of course, I stink at sight reading, but I had a musical number. It kind of sounds ok. I put it on my dropbox. Mom it's the video that's completely dark. Sister Williams didn't feel comfortable holding a camera, so she stuck it in her bag, but had it on.
Bet you never heard a sweet hour of prayer quite like that one.

I love you all! Have a great week, and be the best person you can be! God knows you so well, and will help you in accomplishing the impossible!

<3 Søster Floyd

quotes from this week:

Getting off an S-tog, I see this mutant bug laying on the ground. It's black and huge.
Me, ''Whoa! Look at that bug!''
Sister Williams, ''glad THAT'S dead''

Me,''Time to stress cook!''

Good quote from my 6 month letter:
''May the Lord bless you in furthering His work as you remain focused, effective, and diligent in your missionary efforts.''

Elder Ballard know's what's up:
''He's not asking us to die a martyr's death, He's asking us to live a disciple's life'', how bout yes.

Prayers ARE answered!!!!

Hey y'all.

This was one of the most miraculous weeks I've ever had. After being sick for so long and not seeing very much of our area, Sister Williams and I were very much ready to get out and help the people here in Copenhagen.
On Wednesday we said a very heart-felt prayer as we left the apartment, and I said another in my heart, both of us hoping that we could find someone that day that could be taught. We MISSED teaching, and not just that, but none of our investigaters as of right now were ready to be baptized, they had all been taught for a very long time, and are progressing, but slowly. We had one appointment that morning, where we taught an investigator, then thought we could stop and do some service for some people we knew. As we were walking over there, we get a phone call from a number we don't know, that turns out to be a lady from the distibution center. We had given her a card just a few days earlier, as she mentioned to us that sometimes people come to the church and want to get in contact with the missionaries, but she doesn't have our number for them.
What do ya know? That phone call from her said there was a young woman at the center, who wanted to know more, and had gone on a walk for about a half hour, if we could only be there when she got back she'd LOVE to meet us.
Let's just say that we made that trip in a record amount of time. We arrived there and talked to Vicky, who said the girl should be back anytime. When this young woman comes to the front door, very nervous looking, and lookin like she might bolt, we invite her in and start to talk to her. Very nervously, but extremely honest, Sonja(we find out is her name), starts to tell us that she has a friend in another ward and they go to school together. He's one of the nicest people she's ever met, and he told her about the church. He even gave her a Book of Mormon! When we asked her about the Book of Mormon, she says, ''He told me that I needed to get a testimony of it myself, that I should read it to know if it's true. Well I have, and it is. I've prayed and God answered my prayer.'' We asked her if she knows about Joseph Smith. She said, ''Yes, I've watched the long movie about him, and he's definitely a prophet.'' Sister Williams and I were DYING to say the least. Amazed by what was going on, the miracle taking place, we asked her to be baptized in Oktober, if that was something she wanted. She JUMPED at the word baptism, and told us, ''YES! That's what i want, definitely!'' So we set a baptismal date right then and there, about 6 weeks out. We got her information, and she promised to come to church on sunday.
Saturday night, we have a strong prompting. To change her baptismal date. We're not sure why, as she's BARELY met the church, and Oktober isn't really that far. There's no need to do it. But we feel that she could and should be baptized at the end of September. HOLY COW. THAT'S SOON. We say a prayer, and ask about the 26th. Well, confirmation is real, and we had it. Time to find out if Sonja is ok with it, and if it's really best for her.
Sunday came, and despite all the crazy traffic on the main road(due to a half marathon being run RIGHT OUTSIDE) she made it there 5 minutes before it all started. Walking her in was so glorious. We found out as soon as she steps inside, that it's her birthday, ''What a great birthday present to myself? To come to church!!!'' Um...how about you're astounding, Sonja. It was amazing. In sacrament, she learned probably 5 principles, and we would discuss what they were while they happened, so she understood. I have NEVER seen someone grasp concepts so quickly. She asks the most amazing questions. ''Why do you use water instead of wine, even though the scriptures say wine?'' We told her it's because the most important part of the ordinance is the prayer, not what is partaken. Her response was just, ''Of course! it's doesn't matter what it IS, as long as you say the prayer.'' She was reading along with the prayers the whole time they were said. I gave her one of my scripture markers so she could mark things in her Book of Mormon. She was so excited. She immediately looked at my BofM, and marks the first scripture she sees I have marked. Mosiah 28:3, my mission scripture. She was like, ''how does one mark????'' I can't handle her cuteness. Oh, and did I ever say, she's only 16? That's ok though, her parents want this for her, and we'll be seeing them this week when we visit her.

Anyways....After the most amazing church of my life, we have a short lesson with her, so we can set up appointments, and get to teaching her. She tells us a concern of hers, which is, that she can't wait until Oktober, and that in Oktober her school schedule becomes insane, with studying and exams all the time. We now knew why we had to move up her already speedy date. We didn't then waste anytime at all, and asked, ''Sonja? We feel very strongly, that we should invite you to be baptized a bit sooner. Would you be willing to change the date to September 26th?''
Oh my goodness.
The YES that shot out of her was so fast it blazed by all the marathon runners.
She was SO excited. She then invited all the young women to come and attend, because they're her new besties.
The ward loves her. She has been invited to like 4 different members to eat at their place. She's SO excited about everything she's learning. I've never seen someone ask so many questions, accept so many truths, and progress SO rapidly.
That prayer we said wednesday morning changed my life. I can't help but be giddy, thinking about the difference this girl is making in MY life. So much faith. I've never seen a truth seeker like her. I know that
God heard our prayers. I knew that before Sonja. But my testimony had indeed been strengthened. Sonja is a miracle. I'm just grateful we're here to witness it.

Well.....hope you all had a great week!
LOVE YOU!

p.s.I'll attach a bunch of awesome pictures we took this week. My favorites are the ones we took right after our first appointment with Sonja, where we freaked out. I also love our pictures with Sonja in front of the temple, where she told us she'd like to go in next month. This gurl tho.

Mufasa Stopped By

Well this has been another fabulous week here in københavn, Danmark! Quite productive, very eventful, I'm exhausted.

Things I love:
I love this missionary life.
I shall never leave it.
I love you all.
I will someday return to you, though today is not that day.
I love Denmark!!!!
I love sunshine.
I love minions.
I love my CTR ring.
I love putting on my badge everyday and wearing that perfect accessory.
I looooove everything in the whole wooooorld!

We had some guests again this week, this time is wasn't missionaries per-say, but mini missionaries! In Denmark they have a program for the youth where they let them go out with the missionaries for a day kontakting with us, teaching a lesson, overnighting and then studying! Both I and Sister Williams got one, and It really was so great. My 16-year-old mini missionary was Emma Petersen, from Roskilde! She's a babe. And she's my mini mission baby. She's really gonna be a great missionary one day, and I was so greatful for the help she gave me. Sister Williams had Natasha Mølholt, from Slagelse!!!!! It was so great to see Natasha again, I miss that girl, and she was basically pre-trained for this! She goes out all the time with the sisters in slagelse, and she's basically already serving she helps so much. They had  a blast together! There were many missionaries on Sjælland that got MM's, and so on day 2 we had a zone training with them, so they could practice role-plays and how to teach the first vision. While on splits with these girls sister petersen and I taught a great lesson with a married couple in the ward from the U.S., it's a good thing that girl has english down, or that would have been hard hahaha  but we shared her fave scripture, and I tried to help her teach, though she didn't need it she was so good!
That whole experience was way fun. It was great to show a youngin like her how fabulous missionary work is. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I felt like it was a mission within a mission with her. Mission-ception. A nice refresher to remember why I'm here and who Blaire Floyd is! ''Simbaaaaa remembah who you are'' thanks Mufasa for the help.

We also went to the TEMPLEEEEEE!!!! Ahhhh glorious day! I haven't been to the copenhagen temple since last oktober! MAN! I had really missed those blessings. And going with sister williams was just the best. Not to mention, that in that session there were all the departing senior missionaries that we love, a new group of young missionaries and their trainers, the assistants, and President and Sister O'Bryant! Perks of serving in copenhagen? you can schedule the preferred temple day ;D Seriously though, being welcomed into the room by President O'Bryant was such a happy experience for me. That man is one of the best people I know. The other day, he was up on the stand and I was on the front row, and I made a fake mustache with my hair, he saw it, made a shocked face, and then I dropped the hair and looked around the room like I didn't know what was going on, and when I turned back he had burst into a fit of laughter. We crack each other up.

After our apartment checks a few weeks ago, they wrote a list of things we wanted repaired. The cavalry came this week, and we had our showerhead replaced in the apartment. Now this may not seem too big, but for me, it is just another achievement I can add to that list of things I did to better my area apartments before I move. And that's a good list. I've also invested in a can opener in this apartment as it's lackin one.
It was way great actually!!! The senior couple from the office came over to check things out in the apartment, and they fixed our bunk bed( which squeaked to high heavens, and was so annoying hahaha), got us a new pan to cook with, gave us a new shower head, and fixed some of the cupboards in the kitchennnn
Livin that pampered life yo ✌

This week we also met with some very lovely people, a few less actives, recently reactivated people, and investigaters. Let's begin.

Pauline-She was reactivated my first sunday in copenhagen, and progressed every week since. I love this woman from Uganda, who adores the missionaries, feeds us food that must be eaten with hands and not a fork or knife(wow denmark has influenced me, because eating with my hands feels barbaric and freeing at the same time), she taught gospel principles last week, and loves sharing her testimony. Mom, you will love Pauline. I promised her she could meet you and dad. She is very excited.

Dong Di- Our chinese less active, who actually just left for china so she ain't gettin any more active for at least 3 months. Awks. But!!! We had an amazing lesson with her this week, and she has been prayin for strength cause work is way hard for her right now. Not to mention she lives in a midget sized apartment with no breathing room and she also just quit drinking coffee and smokin. This woman has a lot on her plate. Pray it up Dong di, you can keep that commitment even in China.

Mia- (Investigater)Well, Mia and I had a rocky start, as she spent every second correcting my danish instead of listening to what I was actually saying. That was a humbling lesson for me, as I hate people cutting me off mid- sentence, and not only that but she wouldn't let me try to even fix what I said, she's just say, ''just speak english. Just say it i english''. That can be hard cause I don't WANT to speak english, that's giving up in my head, I've worked so hard to be able to speak danish and I want to use it! BUT! I just bit my tongue after a while, prayed for patience, and let sister williams teach hahaha anyways now I've learned to just speak english with her. Honestly she enjoys english, respekts us more, and we make progress with her. We Came over this week and made her dinner(fried chicken and ranch mashed potatoes. #Missionary life), and she loved it. It made it so much easier for me to love her when I *served her. And her dog that hates me even loved me by the end of the appointment! SUCCESS!!!!!!!!! So now Mia and I are friends. Good times.

Brian & Anna: So brian and Anna are fabulous. He's a member she's not, and they come to church together every week. They hold and hands and are just so cute, and I have placed myself in their line of vision many times because I will be their friend so help me. It seems to have worked, because after sitting by them every week, telling them how much I like them, and smiling all the time until I feel like barbie from toy story 2 where she had to stop because it hurt, they let us come over this week!!!!! I wrote about it in the part about the mini mission. It was really great cause they're philosophers??? and came to denmark to study this guy named Søren kirkegaard, who's real famous and dead and wrote things. They met whilst researching him. Cuteness. They've only been married for about a year. The lesson with them went smashingly. She participated so much, sister petersen (emma), shared her fave scripture, and we talked about blessings, my favorite things!!!! 😹🙌😍 Anyways, things are going well in their neck of the woods.

Sister Williams and I are blessed as we found out about transfers, and the angel of transfers has passed over us! WE'RE STAYIN TOGETHER!!!!!! And this next transfer is extra long, with 7 weeks. I'm loving it. I'm learning so much from her everyday, and bettering myself as a missionary. It's such a blessing!!!! Literally everything is getting better. She's even helping me with my hand writing. This is a woman of many talents. She's also hilarious, and I'm often rolling on the floor laughing while she looks down and says, ''need a lil help?'' I'm so happy I get to keep her.

This week I have learned a lot about about how God really has a plan for us. He knows everything and everyone, and gives guidance and help where needed, and room to grow so we can reach our potential. He's amazing that way.  And a quote from my trainer has just been going through my head over and over again! '' If God has brought you to it... He will bring you through it.'' It's my motto at this point. God knows where I'm supposed to go, who I need to talk to, and when it comes to it what I need to say. He knows that person I'm speaking with, so it doesn't matter that I've never met them before, as He's ready to help them!! I just need to be worthy of the Spirit's guidance, and that way I can be an effective tool in His hands.

I love you all!!! Have an amazing week, I know I will!

*Side note:That literally is the answer to everything. SERVICE. If you have a problem with someone, serve them. If you like them enough but want to love them? SERVE THEM. That was the best advice I ever got from my stake president back home. Thank you Pres. Iorg, though you won't be releasing me, you set me apart and gave me some great tools to succeed on this mission of mine, and with life i general. Tak skal du ha'!

Danish Skies. A beautiful sight to behold.

Sister Emma Petersen! My mini missionary!

I love these girls :'D Me, Sister Mandla, Sister Williams

Family Reunion :'D

🙏
Well hello y'all this is sister floyd callin from copenhagen, danmark, saying that we're got a thunder storm on the way, hope the flight stays safe, keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times!

So actually, we are having a crazy thunder and lightining storm right now! hahaha but it's good because we needed the rain, we've had so much sun the last few weeks and our little garden out back is cryin! jk, the garden doesn't care, and jk we don't take care of it.
And not to mention but our venus flytrap on the window sill was in dire need of some sunshine so this weather better skiddaddle snart.

This week was FABULOUS!
We worked out tails off, sister williams and I, and made a lot of progress in our area!
We had two reactivations, 3 people in church, and not only that, but in sunday school the lesson was taught by someone we helped to reactivate 2 weeks ago! Pauline taught an AMAZING lesson on missionary work, and I love that woman. She so dang cute. Mom you will love Pauline.

Also this week we had a mission conference, which NEVER happens, it's far too expensive, and a member from the seventy came. Elder Dykes, who taught some really great principles. But honestly, the best part of the conference was that I got to see all my besties from Jylland that I never talk to anymore. It was so great. Sister Thompson and I reunited, and I missed that cracker. Her and Sister Reed(who are comps now in Vejle!!!!) came and overnighted with us!!!! CRAZY!! I loved getting to spend time with them, and sister Reed came me the best reunitement hug EVER. She literally ran and jumped me. Happiness=Attained

I also saw Elder Wilsher, who told me I smell like usual, I miss his sassy britishness, and sister ferguson! Who I got to sit next to each other the whole conference, and giggle with a bunch. I was even brave enough to raise my hand and like, make comments! It's cause we talked about charity and submissiveness, which are my two favorite things right now. Can I get an amen? Amen!

Have to admit though, we were all SO tired when it was over, it was a good thing they fed us lunch.
Oh and guess what a mission reunion meant?
MTC REUNITEMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR!
We had our own table that we only sat at, and it was fabulous. We shared MTC stories, talked about all the great things that have happened in the last year, and other such things.
AWWW IT WAS JUST SO GREAT!
And one of the best jokes from the MTC was that if I ever mentioned working in a hospital they would all kind of look at me really confused and say, ''wait....did....did you work in a hospital?'' SO much sass, and they did that at the table, and we all just DIED.
pictures to come.

Last monday after I wrote we also got to go out and see SO much of copenhagen, man it was great. I have pictures of me in front of famous things. I will send pics of such things.
There are many.

Ok so i have to say, I love my companion. Me and Sister Williams get along so well together, and just spend so much time laughing. She's so funny.
The other night we were getting ready for bed, and I'm tryin to floss through my permanent retainer(for those who didn't know, yes, i have one. There ya go.)
And as I'm doing this, she looks at me and says, ''do you ever get stopped in airports with that thing?''
#no #but it might happen one day # I'm not a preteen so why do I still have this on

Another great thing this week was that Sister Williams and I took some time(A LOT OF TIME) to go through our area book! For those of you who know not what an area book is, it's basically our stalked book. It's got all the info of anyone that the missionaries have ever taught, met, or heard of in our area.
As a missionary part of your job is to update the area book. This meaning that if anyone moves, loses contact with us in other ways, or dies we are to take their record and move it accordingly or destroy it accordingly. We are to organize it to the best of our abilities. WE ARE TO KEEP A RECORD OF THE PEEPS WE TEACH.
After being sufficiently scarred from our area book, but feeling a job well done, I turn to sister williams and ask, ''do you feel like you got to know the area better?''
and her response is, ''I feel like I just sniffed the dirty underwear drawer of our area''
basically.
That thing was a mess.
#We reign supreme here #We are the gardeners of Copenhagen #Laundry has been done did

Well y'all i love youuuu!!!!
Me and Sister Williams are kicking butt here in Frederiksberg! And we're so jam packed this next week we don't know what to do with our lives.
Except for enjoy it.
LOVE YOU!!!!!!
