Mufasa Stopped By

Well this has been another fabulous week here in københavn, Danmark! Quite productive, very eventful, I'm exhausted.

Things I love:
I love this missionary life.
I shall never leave it.
I love you all.
I will someday return to you, though today is not that day.
I love Denmark!!!!
I love sunshine.
I love minions.
I love my CTR ring.
I love putting on my badge everyday and wearing that perfect accessory.
I looooove everything in the whole wooooorld!

We had some guests again this week, this time is wasn't missionaries per-say, but mini missionaries! In Denmark they have a program for the youth where they let them go out with the missionaries for a day kontakting with us, teaching a lesson, overnighting and then studying! Both I and Sister Williams got one, and It really was so great. My 16-year-old mini missionary was Emma Petersen, from Roskilde! She's a babe. And she's my mini mission baby. She's really gonna be a great missionary one day, and I was so greatful for the help she gave me. Sister Williams had Natasha Mølholt, from Slagelse!!!!! It was so great to see Natasha again, I miss that girl, and she was basically pre-trained for this! She goes out all the time with the sisters in slagelse, and she's basically already serving she helps so much. They had  a blast together! There were many missionaries on Sjælland that got MM's, and so on day 2 we had a zone training with them, so they could practice role-plays and how to teach the first vision. While on splits with these girls sister petersen and I taught a great lesson with a married couple in the ward from the U.S., it's a good thing that girl has english down, or that would have been hard hahaha  but we shared her fave scripture, and I tried to help her teach, though she didn't need it she was so good!
That whole experience was way fun. It was great to show a youngin like her how fabulous missionary work is. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I felt like it was a mission within a mission with her. Mission-ception. A nice refresher to remember why I'm here and who Blaire Floyd is! ''Simbaaaaa remembah who you are'' thanks Mufasa for the help.

We also went to the TEMPLEEEEEE!!!! Ahhhh glorious day! I haven't been to the copenhagen temple since last oktober! MAN! I had really missed those blessings. And going with sister williams was just the best. Not to mention, that in that session there were all the departing senior missionaries that we love, a new group of young missionaries and their trainers, the assistants, and President and Sister O'Bryant! Perks of serving in copenhagen? you can schedule the preferred temple day ;D Seriously though, being welcomed into the room by President O'Bryant was such a happy experience for me. That man is one of the best people I know. The other day, he was up on the stand and I was on the front row, and I made a fake mustache with my hair, he saw it, made a shocked face, and then I dropped the hair and looked around the room like I didn't know what was going on, and when I turned back he had burst into a fit of laughter. We crack each other up.

After our apartment checks a few weeks ago, they wrote a list of things we wanted repaired. The cavalry came this week, and we had our showerhead replaced in the apartment. Now this may not seem too big, but for me, it is just another achievement I can add to that list of things I did to better my area apartments before I move. And that's a good list. I've also invested in a can opener in this apartment as it's lackin one.
It was way great actually!!! The senior couple from the office came over to check things out in the apartment, and they fixed our bunk bed( which squeaked to high heavens, and was so annoying hahaha), got us a new pan to cook with, gave us a new shower head, and fixed some of the cupboards in the kitchennnn
Livin that pampered life yo ✌

This week we also met with some very lovely people, a few less actives, recently reactivated people, and investigaters. Let's begin.

Pauline-She was reactivated my first sunday in copenhagen, and progressed every week since. I love this woman from Uganda, who adores the missionaries, feeds us food that must be eaten with hands and not a fork or knife(wow denmark has influenced me, because eating with my hands feels barbaric and freeing at the same time), she taught gospel principles last week, and loves sharing her testimony. Mom, you will love Pauline. I promised her she could meet you and dad. She is very excited.

Dong Di- Our chinese less active, who actually just left for china so she ain't gettin any more active for at least 3 months. Awks. But!!! We had an amazing lesson with her this week, and she has been prayin for strength cause work is way hard for her right now. Not to mention she lives in a midget sized apartment with no breathing room and she also just quit drinking coffee and smokin. This woman has a lot on her plate. Pray it up Dong di, you can keep that commitment even in China.

Mia- (Investigater)Well, Mia and I had a rocky start, as she spent every second correcting my danish instead of listening to what I was actually saying. That was a humbling lesson for me, as I hate people cutting me off mid- sentence, and not only that but she wouldn't let me try to even fix what I said, she's just say, ''just speak english. Just say it i english''. That can be hard cause I don't WANT to speak english, that's giving up in my head, I've worked so hard to be able to speak danish and I want to use it! BUT! I just bit my tongue after a while, prayed for patience, and let sister williams teach hahaha anyways now I've learned to just speak english with her. Honestly she enjoys english, respekts us more, and we make progress with her. We Came over this week and made her dinner(fried chicken and ranch mashed potatoes. #Missionary life), and she loved it. It made it so much easier for me to love her when I *served her. And her dog that hates me even loved me by the end of the appointment! SUCCESS!!!!!!!!! So now Mia and I are friends. Good times.

Brian & Anna: So brian and Anna are fabulous. He's a member she's not, and they come to church together every week. They hold and hands and are just so cute, and I have placed myself in their line of vision many times because I will be their friend so help me. It seems to have worked, because after sitting by them every week, telling them how much I like them, and smiling all the time until I feel like barbie from toy story 2 where she had to stop because it hurt, they let us come over this week!!!!! I wrote about it in the part about the mini mission. It was really great cause they're philosophers??? and came to denmark to study this guy named Søren kirkegaard, who's real famous and dead and wrote things. They met whilst researching him. Cuteness. They've only been married for about a year. The lesson with them went smashingly. She participated so much, sister petersen (emma), shared her fave scripture, and we talked about blessings, my favorite things!!!! 😹🙌😍 Anyways, things are going well in their neck of the woods.

Sister Williams and I are blessed as we found out about transfers, and the angel of transfers has passed over us! WE'RE STAYIN TOGETHER!!!!!! And this next transfer is extra long, with 7 weeks. I'm loving it. I'm learning so much from her everyday, and bettering myself as a missionary. It's such a blessing!!!! Literally everything is getting better. She's even helping me with my hand writing. This is a woman of many talents. She's also hilarious, and I'm often rolling on the floor laughing while she looks down and says, ''need a lil help?'' I'm so happy I get to keep her.

This week I have learned a lot about about how God really has a plan for us. He knows everything and everyone, and gives guidance and help where needed, and room to grow so we can reach our potential. He's amazing that way.  And a quote from my trainer has just been going through my head over and over again! '' If God has brought you to it... He will bring you through it.'' It's my motto at this point. God knows where I'm supposed to go, who I need to talk to, and when it comes to it what I need to say. He knows that person I'm speaking with, so it doesn't matter that I've never met them before, as He's ready to help them!! I just need to be worthy of the Spirit's guidance, and that way I can be an effective tool in His hands.

I love you all!!! Have an amazing week, I know I will!
<3 Søster Floyd

*Side note:That literally is the answer to everything. SERVICE. If you have a problem with someone, serve them. If you like them enough but want to love them? SERVE THEM. That was the best advice I ever got from my stake president back home. Thank you Pres. Iorg, though you won't be releasing me, you set me apart and gave me some great tools to succeed on this mission of mine, and with life i general. Tak skal du ha'!

Danish Skies. A beautiful sight to behold.

Sister Emma Petersen! My mini missionary!

I love these girls :'D Me, Sister Mandla, Sister Williams

Me, Sister Mattie Reed, a mini missionary, Sister Mandla, Elder Reimschussel, Sister Williams

We're in the ghetto yo. This is my crew, and these are...the train tunnels.

Family Reunion :'D

🙏
Well hello y'all this is sister floyd callin from copenhagen, danmark, saying that we're got a thunder storm on the way, hope the flight stays safe, keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times!

So actually, we are having a crazy thunder and lightining storm right now! hahaha but it's good because we needed the rain, we've had so much sun the last few weeks and our little garden out back is cryin! jk, the garden doesn't care, and jk we don't take care of it.
And not to mention but our venus flytrap on the window sill was in dire need of some sunshine so this weather better skiddaddle snart.

This week was FABULOUS!
We worked out tails off, sister williams and I, and made a lot of progress in our area!
We had two reactivations, 3 people in church, and not only that, but in sunday school the lesson was taught by someone we helped to reactivate 2 weeks ago! Pauline taught an AMAZING lesson on missionary work, and I love that woman. She so dang cute. Mom you will love Pauline.

Also this week we had a mission conference, which NEVER happens, it's far too expensive, and a member from the seventy came. Elder Dykes, who taught some really great principles. But honestly, the best part of the conference was that I got to see all my besties from Jylland that I never talk to anymore. It was so great. Sister Thompson and I reunited, and I missed that cracker. Her and Sister Reed(who are comps now in Vejle!!!!) came and overnighted with us!!!! CRAZY!! I loved getting to spend time with them, and sister Reed came me the best reunitement hug EVER. She literally ran and jumped me. Happiness=Attained

I also saw Elder Wilsher, who told me I smell like usual, I miss his sassy britishness, and sister ferguson! Who I got to sit next to each other the whole conference, and giggle with a bunch. I was even brave enough to raise my hand and like, make comments! It's cause we talked about charity and submissiveness, which are my two favorite things right now. Can I get an amen? Amen!

Have to admit though, we were all SO tired when it was over, it was a good thing they fed us lunch.
Oh and guess what a mission reunion meant?
MTC REUNITEMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A YEAR!
We had our own table that we only sat at, and it was fabulous. We shared MTC stories, talked about all the great things that have happened in the last year, and other such things.
AWWW IT WAS JUST SO GREAT!
And one of the best jokes from the MTC was that if I ever mentioned working in a hospital they would all kind of look at me really confused and say, ''wait....did....did you work in a hospital?'' SO much sass, and they did that at the table, and we all just DIED.
pictures to come.

Last monday after I wrote we also got to go out and see SO much of copenhagen, man it was great. I have pictures of me in front of famous things. I will send pics of such things.
There are many.

Ok so i have to say, I love my companion. Me and Sister Williams get along so well together, and just spend so much time laughing. She's so funny.
The other night we were getting ready for bed, and I'm tryin to floss through my permanent retainer(for those who didn't know, yes, i have one. There ya go.)
And as I'm doing this, she looks at me and says, ''do you ever get stopped in airports with that thing?''
#no #but it might happen one day # I'm not a preteen so why do I still have this on

Another great thing this week was that Sister Williams and I took some time(A LOT OF TIME) to go through our area book! For those of you who know not what an area book is, it's basically our stalked book. It's got all the info of anyone that the missionaries have ever taught, met, or heard of in our area.
As a missionary part of your job is to update the area book. This meaning that if anyone moves, loses contact with us in other ways, or dies we are to take their record and move it accordingly or destroy it accordingly. We are to organize it to the best of our abilities. WE ARE TO KEEP A RECORD OF THE PEEPS WE TEACH.
After being sufficiently scarred from our area book, but feeling a job well done, I turn to sister williams and ask, ''do you feel like you got to know the area better?''
and her response is, ''I feel like I just sniffed the dirty underwear drawer of our area''
basically.
That thing was a mess.
#We reign supreme here #We are the gardeners of Copenhagen #Laundry has been done did

Well y'all i love youuuu!!!!
Me and Sister Williams are kicking butt here in Frederiksberg! And we're so jam packed this next week we don't know what to do with our lives.
Except for enjoy it.
LOVE YOU!!!!!!
<3 Søster Floyd

p.s. This week an amazing member family took us out to eat, and I got to feed goats at a petting zoo right after. I got a new boyfriend.

not to mention the family made us sing at the restaurant after we ate. #we try to go with the flow

well hey y'all

So this week has been quite the adventure.

Making a short list,
1. our numbers were up cause we went outside more!
2. Sister Williams spoke in church and killed it. She be so good at Danish.
3. I got Lauren's envelope this week, and cried as i held it. Sister Williams checking the mailbox and pulling that out for me just made me so happy.
4. I got to see sister Ferguson twice cause of zone training and then her and sister sørensen came to the temple for Alice(from Odense!!!!!!) so alice could do her endowments for the first time in 20 years!!!
5. Sister Williams and i rocked 2 musical numbers this week, and we sounded so good. She is amazing at the quitar, and we harmonize way well. We sang Teach Me to Walk in the Light, and also More Holiness Give Me. We rocked it.
6. We had an apartment check, them being the first people to see it after we redid it, and let me tell you, they were blown away. My favorite thing. They had seen what I did to the apartment in Slagelse, so they walk in, and sister madsen just says, ''well, after slagelse, frankly i'm not surprised Sister Floyd''
it was great.
They sat on the couch and just basked in the splendor of our apartment.
7. When we sang Teach Me to Walk in the Light it was at the baptism for an 8 year old boy in the ward, Alfy!!!!!! I love that kid. His family is so wonderful, and they love the missionaries, it was grea to see them all together there, they really are so sweet. Momma Teague conducts music in church, and she has the cutest british accent. And so do all her kids. Cause her husband is british and even though she's danish because she lived in england for a while she picked up that accent. But like, when she speaks danish i can't hear it at all, so it's just way funny. Ahhhh I love them!
8. There was a certain other baptism this week.....man i just can't remember her name! what was it?.......
oh ya. CAMILLA S. The woman of the hour. I realize I can't tell you all her last name unless I ask her. Personal info and all, and hey, maybe she reads my blog or something?......Ok Camilla I know you're reading this right now* hahahha CONGRATS WOMAN!!!!
I love Camilla. She is so kind and wonderful and just hilarious. The baptism was beautiful,  and I got to be the first person to see her when she arrived at the church that morning. She didn't know I was coming so it was just a great surprise!! She was baptized so gracefully, she's just that way, and it was amazing to see someone I love so much take such a huge step.
9. Oh ya, and this was up in Aalborg. The land of my dreams. I had such an amazing time there, I love that place with my whole heart. The ward all remembered me, talked to me a bunch, and I made some appointments with them for when I visit with mom and dad. CRAZY. FYI mom and dad? We're eating some of the most delicious food on earth with Marie Louise and Jimmy. They are fabulous.

Other than that life hasn't been too eventful, we're both on the mend, life is getting better, and sister williams and I are pickin up the work here in Copenhagen!

Have a great week y'all!!!
<3 Søster Floyd

* ok you gotta know this funny story real quick. So I was talking with Camilla, and I told her where I was serving, and then she said something i thought was funny, so I was like, ''oh that's goin on the blog!'' and she replies, ''btw, i read your blog! So i already knew you were serving in frederiksberg, i just couldn't tell you immediately, or I'd freak you out!!! ;D'' it was so very witty and hilarious, and so Camilla. We just laughed and laughed. I have declared her to be my own offical stalker, and I'm so happy about it.

Hi Camilla.

p.s. enjoy the pics.

Extreme Makeover: Missionary Apartment Edition

Well, well, well here was are.
This week was a bit crazy, as my companion and I were stuck inside, however just because you are inside does NOT mean you are a bad missionary! You can still be successful, productive, and efficient while in the confines of an apartment.

And oh baby were we efficient.

Let me tell you a legend, one so old that it outlasts the dastardly tradition of mindebogs which sisters invest their time in:
It is one of the disgusting sister Genbrug.
It is one of the Carpets put in by a senior couple.
It is......

VESTRE ALLE 11, 1 SAL: THE HORROR!

This apartment, I swear, when I first stepped foot into it I was just like, ''no. No no no. I just went through this in Slagelse, I'm not living this crap apartment life again. WHAT THE HECK SISTERS???? WHYYYY???''
My exact thoughts as I entered our apartment. BUT! It's just because like a million years about there was this senior couple that apparently missed carpet, so they found this old one somewhere, and basically puzzle-pieced it throughout the apartment, and it is NASTAAAY.
So.
I asked sister williams about it, who said that it is to protect the floors, apparently the sisters thought the floors were bad? False! That is a myth put there by the ancient Ægtepar! Once this was cleared up, we decided they had to GO. Not the old couple, they went home like 10 years ago, sisters were just too nastalgic or something like that to take it out.
So the other night once I just thought to myself, ''do it once'' and began to move the very large furniture out of the room. With the help of sister williams we pulled out the carpet, found beautiful floors that just needed to be cleaned a little, and then moved around the whole apartment. The living room is now where the bedroom before had been, and the bedroom is now where the living room was.
On to the sister genbrug. Genbrug is the word for thrift shop in danish, meaning using again. Well, in every sister's apartment here has loads of clothes from sisters who have gotten tired of clothes, maybe didn't have room for it all when they transfered, went home and didn't care how much they left. Whatever the case, the genbrug in our apartment is NOTORIOUS for this. It takes up the whole closet, the cupboard above, and the one higher than that. We have no space.
Well it had to go.
I need that closet space yo.

So we went through all the clothes, saving the ones that were actually nice, making a compiled sister's genbrug, and then organizing the closet where we can now easily hang up all our clothes.

I don't settle for mediocracy.
I have no idea if I spelled that right. # that's my messed up brain for ya

Our place is going to be eden when we get those cleaning checks tomorrow. Boo ya.

Something I must share from this week: the power of prayer!!! I have really been working on making my prayers more sincere, finding that No prayer is unheard, and He understands our situations whatever they may be. Wow. He really knows us. And anything we're going through is just to help make us better, and they great thing is, because He knows the measure of our potential, that means that He can best help us come over our trials. SO REMEMBER to pray! Because He can help best with whatever it is!

sidenote: Yesterday we ate dinner with some members, and they're like this fabulous couple, so beautiful, and just have beene everywhere. He can't tell us exactly what his job is, cause like, he's a part of the intelligence for Denmark. ooooooh. And his wife is from Arizona, they're literally the most stunning couple. Well I awkardly at dinner got some food on my white shirt, and she offers to help clean it real fast right after dinner. So I take the offer. she later we're scrubbing the shirt, trying to clean it, and we let it soak. While we're waiting, she pulls out some things for us to look at from their travels, and she just throws out this silk rug, like, REAL SILK RUG from Afghanistan, and i just face plant on it, it was SO SOFT oh my goodness gracious. while laying there on my face, she's like, ''hey, can i pop your back?''
um, heck yes girlfriend i'm in for that.
in about 30 seconds she then popped my back in like 8 places, it was crazy. apparently being on a mission has done things to my back i just didn't know.
but all i do know, is that that back experience was fabulous. That's a good eating appointment! Good food, great spiritual thought, some physical therapy, and a silk rug.

Another thing from this week, splits! They really were so great! I was with Sister Mattie Reed, and we had a BLAST! Really though, we worked so dang hard, made some great personal goals, and I know I learned a lot.

Got a call this week from Aalborg, and Camille is getting baptized!!!!!!!! AHHH!!!!! She's been investigating for 2 years, more actually, and I'm way excited to go! President gave us permission and was just like, ''Have a great trip girls!''
It was like christmas.
CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Also, I need to say, that I love my companion. Sister Williams makes life so good with her beautiful voice, hilarious stories, and fabulous crocheting skillz. She's one talented woman.

I hope you all have a great week! I'll be writin again next monday, cause that's just how I do.

peace XOXO
<3 Søster Floyd

also this one time Elder Reimschussel wore a fake mustache with Elder Wright, and then someone put a darth vader hat on him.

Meet our AP's y'all

Sup Home Slices

well hello y'all.
This place is hoppin I tell ya what, wow.
so.
many.
people.
everywhere.

I feel like a chicken with my head cut off, i just can't talk to all, but I need to speak to as many as possible. This is the crazy life of copenhagen.
Sister Williams and I have hit it off, we very much are enjoying the humor which each other has, spending most of our time laughing and smiling.
This week we found 3 new investigaters, I saw some elephants, we walking all over copenhagen, I have seen some native american dances, and we have sung on scandinavia's biggest shopping center.
Thank you Copenhagen.
Well y'all I'm out, as we and the elders and the assistants shall go to play beach volleyball....in denmark's capital.
boo ya.
love you all, have a fabulous week.
MKH,
<3 Søster Floyd

Mom I finally got a new bad, it's super cute! And so am I!

''My eyebrows look huge!''

Well Right after P-day last monday, something hiliarious happened, it's called Elder Lester accidentally shaved his head. life is so good.
He apparently forgot to put the guard on, and because of said guard, he shaved from the bottom of his sideburn to the top of his temple on his forehead. Life became so good, cause like, we were on the phone with him and Elder Hawkes when this happened, and screamed we were laughing so hard. We could even hear the razor as it destroyed his life.
Then he asked elder bradshaw on advice, who of course just said there's no way to save it, just shave it! Elder Hawkes tried to redirect such thoughts which he had, however Elder Lester decided there was no other way, and just went for it. Let me explain missionaries are not allowed to have bald heads, BUT! He had no other option. It's ok, he's just gotta avoid important peeps for a few weeks as we all know it takes about 2 weeks to fix a bad hair cut ;D (that's how long it takes to grow itself back enough to save his sorry butt)
Man that was good, just had to share it.

This week we have hit the end of another transfer. As I and Sister Ferguson have had 2 glorious ones together, we figured I would be movin on down the road, and I was sure hopin for Jylland, cause let's be honest, #Team Jylland for evigt, that place is the bomb diggity.
We knew the calls would be coming sometimes this week, we later found out that sometime meant thursday. I will get to that shortly.I start earlier this week for this which happened. Here we goeth.

So this week has been extremely busy, what with me knowing I'm leaving, but not knowing where, and then we knew Elder Hawkes was dying, so we had to say goodbye to a lot of people. However, we also wanted to up our numbers, and really push ourselves. This week Søster Ferguson and I found 7 new investigaters, finding almost half of the investigaters this week in the zone! WOOP! DREAM COMP!!!! It was the best, we just work amazing together, and I'll be friends with that homie for evigt. I miss her already. I bet you're wondering at this point where I'm at right now.
Well, I'll give you a hint.

It's in Denmark.

Anyways! Moving on we're going to wednesday at this point, where we meet with 2 of our new investigaters that we found last week. Great peeps, one believes in the Nordic Gods, for realz, and is very respectful of christianity. He even does burnt offrings in the woods. Crazy. Mrs. Buscher I  know you would think that is very interesting! (shout out to Mrs. Buscher, who made mythology the best class nogensinde. Mom post this on facebook, and then she can read it!)

So the next day we have dinner with anny and Leo, which was just amazing. We love them so much. Anny was one of two people that made me sob when I said goodbye to everyone yesterday. She's been so amazingly kind to me, and her and leo feed us every thursday. Man, we really are tearin that little town of Sørbymagle (sir-boo-mow-luh) apart! We've gotten 4 new investigaters out there just this week! And there's LOADS of members, making the work just that much easier, especially when they give us referrals. I love me a good referral. Mmm! We've been working so hard at setting great goals in specific areas, really making it easier to find, not because the place is any different, but we're utilizing the power of Faith, which can accomplish miracles!
We also had distrikt meeting, which was a blast, and because of our lovely Tina Di Bella, we ate out at Ferdinand's steak house. Man that place is good.

Fredag, that was great, went out to some places did some things.....oh and on thursday we found out about transfers and where we were going. It was great! Loved talking with the assistants!

On to saturday, (I know the suspense is just gonna kill ya here) we got caught in a freakin rain storm!!!!!!!
Like, this rain rivalled even that of Arcata rain when it gets goin. We. Got. Drenched. We got stuck waiting for the elders, and they said apparently to sister ferguson that by the time we walk to the station from where we were, that we would meet them there. Well we got a little miscommunicated. We ended up walking into a thunder storm with pouring rain for 20 minutes whilst waiting for them. When they finally arrived, I asked Elder Hawkes who had that bright idea, and he just said, ''oh, i didn't mean that you had to walk in the rain, i just meant you could meet us at the station. But we could have picked you up wherever!'' I know deep down sister ferguson just wanted to prance in that rain, so i don't hold it against her, except maybe just a little bit cause we took pictures later that night and my face was now naked på grund af rain. Good thing I love her. And miss her already!!!! We then went to Maria's(#teambootyliciousforevigtogså) and she fed us some delicious food, she's just so good at that. And I love her girls. They are so amazing. Two beautiful little african twins that make my world so very happy! They love to put me in jail, by that i mean taking me over to the closet, locking me in, and saying, ''you can't come out!'' AHHHHH I WILL MISS THEM SO MUCH. Good thing they're not that far away.......Oops! I hinted!

Sunday was hard, cause we were saying goodbye to everyone. I just bawled when Anny hugged me, and with Christa later that night, I love Christa, and then when I hugged Maria goodbye I was just so far gone, having lost it earlier with Anny.
I even got hugs from Finna Lykkegård, my arch nemesis, hahaha I love that man. We tease each other all the time. He translated for general conference into danish. He's way quick witted, and we just have a blast together.
Then we later said goodbye to bishop and his family, and they are literally like my family. They are amazing! They have 2 kids on missions, and I think that must be why bishop loves me so much, cause his daughter is in need of people taking care of her! Mom! Dad! You're not alone! SO not alone! (bishop also hugged me, what can i say, i'm just so lovable!)

Today we transfered. Getting to the train was hard, getting on the train was harder, and not at all because i didn't want to leave, but more so because i had so much stuff. 6 months in an area and not starting to pack until 10pm last night was a bad idea. But I just hate packing.
shout out to all the elders and sisters who helped me move all that luggage and other assorted objects. I just have a problem with downsizing. And I got rid of stuff.
  Well now i'm here.

p.s. the delightful declaration of a danske missionary is now up and running, sister ferguson configured it so that i could send an email and it would just update my blog. I love my life.

I just don't know where to even start with all these pictures.
Also, this one time i wrote in elder lester's journal to say goodbye, and his text he sent later that day was hilarious, ''so... I read your message in my book. I want to tell you thank you. It pricked my heart strings and hearly caused evaporation from my eyeholes. I can't decide if your words were that touching or if I was extra receptive due to the fact that I have no hair to block you feminine touchy feely microwaved. I have now been inspired to write something good in your book. ''
Best text ever goes to elder lisper. ''he'th a cripple you know!''

6 Months to Babe-ness

Happy birthday to my babe sister thompson! She's all grow'd up and hitting the 20's. That's muh gurl.
Well we're off to a great start, everybody, as my sister  Lauren has sent me morning workouts. Let's just say it's been a while, me and sister ferguson were sore for 3 days after. Not to mention the Mother sent me some work our gear that is so tight I talk like a chipmunk. SO! Things are going super!
I can already see progress, it's in the difficulty of getting out of bed and pain as I go up trapperne.
It's all good though, cause I will not be bringing the 15 pounds home with me, and so working out is a must. I've also started cooking again, as I can make a lot healthier food than we can buy. SÅ! We're definitely on  the road again!
This week was a week of miracles. We had 23 lessons, 9 of them were member presents. We found 5 new investigaters, and had 3 less actives in church. Can you say MIRACLES????
We've been working SO hard, and praying and planning and praying some more. Always trying to better ourselves, and just work harder.
We met with the mission prez this week, which was the bomb diggity. Him and Sister O'Byant are driving around all of Denmark visiting....everyone. In their apartments. We were there last ones on thursday that they visited, and they were just SO TIRED, having seen 20 missionaries already. They were running 1 1/2 hours late, and they had skipped dinner. Of course as soon as they mentioned that to us(before hand) I hopped in the kitchen and made them some healthy....stirfry with zuccini!! It was like zuccini, potato, chicken, peppers, green onions, and then some sweet and sour sauce kinda shtuff. They were SO happy. They came in, told os our apartment looked like the celestial kingdom, and took a seat on our dusted furniture, with the flag of danmark behind it.
When we did our interviews, it was really great, because even though we don't know the mish prez too well, Sister Ferguson and I can both say that he's perfect for here and now. Really. I feel like I've progressed so much since he's come. He's putting a lot of emphasis on the Christ-like attributes, and how we can become better so we can do better, instead of the other way around. It's amazing.
In fact, these last 2 weeks I've been working on the Christ-like attribute of Charity, and it's changed me whoooole life. I'll send in another email a talk a gave on sunday(which went swimmingly, thank you very much, in Danish) about Charity. How it's all linked with doing the will of the Father.
Why is that? because Charity is the Pure love of Christ, and that entails that we love as Christ loves. And Christ came to Earth to do the will of the Father, meaning that if we have Charity, we give our whole heart to God, all our hopes, dreams, reservations, fears, EVERYTHING.
That has changed me so much.
Also this week we had zone training, where Sis, Fergie and I basically shared our converstion story of the last 2 weeks, and we have one let me tell ya!
Well not actually tell ya, cause otherwise I won't have a homecoming talk in about...AHHHHHH 6 MONTHS. Well that escalated quickly. We'll see how this goes.
All I know is that I'm gonna work as hard as I can so i don't have any regrets on my mission. That starts with my heart. In D&C 4:2, it says to serve God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength. Often times we give our ''all'' meaning our might and strength. That happens a lot as a missionary. We give Him us for a year and a half, two years, and promise to do everything He askes. But often times we are truly converted, and that is a consequence of withholding our heart and mind. God has given us everything. He is almighty, powerful, and can do ANYTHING! We give Him a small bit of what He offers us, and He STILL blesses us. Quite literally everything that we have is a gift from Him, and they only thing He doesn't already have? What is that?
Our Heart and our mind.
WE need to give those to Him.
WE need to be charitable in the biggest sense of the word, and in return He promises us everything.
EVERYTHING!
I love my Heavenly Father. This plan is truly in our favor. Everything points in our favor! But if we don't give Him it all, He can't shape us into what we could become. Only He knows our true potential, and so in turn only He can help us reach it.
We're like a small child wanting to eat candy every night for dinner, but the parent knows very well that eating that sugar won't help us grow to be big and strong(well maybe big) but we'll never make it on that alone! He knows what the plan is, and will lead and guide us as long as we share with Him those things.
I love me some Charity.
I bid you all to read Moroni 7:43-48
It's what it's all about
ALSO! Pull out that PMG (Preach My Gospel, if you don't know what that is, ask a missionary near you ;D), and read chapter 6, pick a Christ-like attribute to work on, and see how it goes this week! Set goals to strive after it, and I know you'll see progress!
Yesterday when I went out with Sister Ferguson we taught that chapter to EVERYONE we met with, and have them now all working on an attribute. No one's perfect, but through Him we sure can come a lot closer, He's got this homies ;D

I love you allll!!!!
I wish I had remembered my journal, cause I got a great story in it to share from this week with ya!
short synopsis:
we were up in this little town, called Dianalund, having just taught a lesson there op.
And ont he way back, I meet this lady who was not really interested in having a conversation. Good thing I was.
SO!
Started talking about the weather, where she's from, she noticed my acccent, and one thing led to another and I told her I'm a missionary from *points to name tag* this church, and from America. She told me she knows a little bit about our church and it's teachings, and so I asked her what she thought, and she very bluntly told me that there's too many rules, and that everyone has their own path in life. I told her that is so true, we all have a different way we need to go, because we're all different. But God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that's why we have guidance He gives us. I was able to tell her that we don't have rules! She was flabberghasted to say the least. I told her, we have invitations, ones that lead us to happiness. I usually accept the invitations, because I find I'm happier when I do. And not just that, I'm blessed a hundred fold.
I've gottenr really good at casually pulling out my scriptures, never thought I'd say that, and grabbed my new Book of Mormon.
I read to her from 2 Nephi 31:21, ''And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is theway; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen.''
After I read that she smiled, and told me that she thought that had a really great message, and then we talked for a bit more.
It was really amazing. I had not pushed her once, knowing that she was uncomfortable with it, but had instead invited her, with some ''pure love of Christ'' ;D
I know that, because as we were pulling into the station, I gave her a card, she looked at it, and told me that she wasn't interested in learning more, but instead that she would watch the video, and just after said the most important thing I could have heard from her, something that made it all worth while.
Lanette, as she is called, said, ''I had many prejudgements about your religion. I didn't like it. I spent a week studying it a while ago, and just automatically didn't like it or the people. Well, I know I was wrong. And I know that because I met you. A very open, kind, and caring person. I'm very glad to have met you today, you changed me mind.''
I have never had anyone tell me that before.
That made it all worth it.
And one day it will have made all the difference, i know that.
Well, I gots things to do, but I love you all soooooo much, have the best week, work on an attribute! Read Moroni 7!!!!
